I finished the stuffed spider FINALLY! Well, I’ve had it done for a little while, but just now getting photos and sharing it here, but it did take me a couple of months to finish the silly thing. What was the hold up? Sewing on the feet! How silly is that? And, did it take me long? Of course not. Oh well, it’s done and I think it’s pretty darn cute. My little doodle-bug loves it, so that’s all that matters!

Once again, since it’s been awhile since I mentioned it……..this is from an old Amy Butler pattern that I stumbled upon at a local quilt store. It came with a pattern for a big play pillow and I need to make that because it’s why I bought the pattern in the first place! But, this little spider was too cute to not make and I had plenty of scraps laying around to sew her up. I think she’s pretty cute!

Baby approved!

I started a new project last night. I stumbled upon this older pattern from Amy Butler at a local quilt store over the summer. I had to buy it because the pillow is just too cute! And I just love the little spider pattern that is included with it. I still haven’t made the pillow yet, but I need to soon because I know that Baby G would love laying on it. I dug out my tub of fabric scraps last night and so far I have all of the pieces cut out and the legs sewn and stuffed. I’m hoping that I will be able to finish it tonight. It feels really good to be crafting again! It has been so long since I have done anything crafty at all. Maybe I’ll get get some cute calicos this weekend so that I can get started on the pillow. Or, maybe I should finish up some of the UFO’s (Un-Finished Objects!) that are flying around my house first. 😉 I have a scarf that I started knitting 2 years ago as a gift for my sister for Christmas……….I’ve dubbed it “The 2 Year Scarf”. How sad is that?
