Here’s a bookmark that I made today. I was feeling the need to create something, but I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do a layout or anything like that. I’ve been reading A LOT all summer and I thought it would be fun to have a neat bookmark. Here’s what I made from the corner of an envelope. It slides just perfectly onto my page and keeps my place w/o me having to worry about it sliding out. It was a fun and quick project to satisfy my muse this afternoon.
Here’s what it looks like in my book……..I’m reading Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer right now. I got sucked into those darn books and I’ve been pretty useless and will be until I read all 4 of them. lol
God Bless!

Di – my whole family are hooked on the books, so you are in great company – they are really addictive, aren’t they? As long as you have been doing what relaxes and pleases you – I say go for it! Love the bookmark! I think I will have to case it!
Found your blog from the LOM group-I haven’t ever posted because I haven’t had the time to do anything yet! Your South Dakota book is looking great! Isn’t it fun when things go together just the way you want?
You have a realy nice blog-thanks for sharing.

OMG, I am in love. I’ve seen the other bookmarks you’ve made, but I must say, this design (colors, composition, layout) of this bookmark is stunning.
Now, what I can’t figure out–possibly because I’m not as crafty as I’d like to think I am–is how exactly you did it?
It’s probably a lot to ask, but would you mind putting together a step by step tutorial (or pointing one out) from the craft-challenged?
